Create your own microstructured substrates with a resolution down to 5 µm
PRIMO enables a fast and precise fabrication of topographies. The system offers to structure photosensitive resins and creates reusable molds on which you can polymerize your favorite material in the shape you want.
Here, 5 µm on 5 µm micropillars were fabricated. First, a mother mold in SU-8 resin was made by projecting 5 µm dots with PRIMO. This allowed to pour some PDMS to create the final structure.

Our rapid workflow enables the creation of PDMS-based substrates of any shapes that can be easily designed and then loaded in Leonardo (PRIMO’s software). Because our technology is based on virtual masks, fast adjustments of the mold design can be done, which makes the microfabrication process way simpler than conventional microfabrication.
These are examples of structures with various geometries microfabricated with high accuracy, as shown by the sharp edges, and with high reproducibility.
